Share your object to the wall on Global Campus
Checklist
Step 1: Check
* Does your sketch show the inputs, i.e. the sensors that detect something e.g. temperature, humidity, a scan of an object, a keypress, voice recognition
* Does your sketch show its energy source e.g. a charger, solar panels
* Does your sketch show how the sensors connect to the Internet?
* Does your sketch show the outputs e.g. speakers, a screen, a motor or any other actuator
* Does your sketch use color pencils?
* Have you labelled all the parts?
* Have you annotated what your object does?
Show your sketch to brothers or sisters or to a parent at home.
Explain how your object works.
Get some feedback from them to improve it.
Step 2: Saving
Save your sketch a number of ways.
1) You could download it to Fichiers on your iPAD.
2) You could download it to the iCloud (the password is your 4 digit password)
3) You could upload it to OneDrive Fichiers.
4) You could resize your image, if it's too big)
Step 3: Uploading to Global Campus
Upload the picture of your sketch of a transformed every day object to your ePortfolio.
Add a title, a short description of your sketch, and the picture.
Pattern Recognition Challenge
Make a pattern from everyday objects. Make a symbol that calls on that pattern. Make symbols that call on different patterns!
Take a video of you making it.
Add your interesting pattern combinations to your ePortfolio.
Now write about your pattern.
Describe how the object in each of its versions shares common traits.
Describe how the object differs in each of its versions.
What can we say generally about this object?
Describe possible exceptions.
